Story
Get to Know Us
We’re sisters and first-generation daughters who grew up in our parents’ small business—a dry cleaners and laundromat—literally from the time we were babies. With no after-school childcare, we spent our days at the shop, learning every job along the way. By eight years old, we were counting cash, balancing checkbooks, and seeing firsthand both the challenges and volatility of running a service-based business.

From bookkeeping and tax filings to navigating notices, we learned alongside our parents what it means to earn an honest dollar, provide excellent service, and grow through every obstacle. Those experiences shaped our paths, and today we bring that same perspective—along with CPA, EA, and MST credentials—to help business owners navigate their own financial journeys with clarity and confidence.

We grew up in our parents’ small business, learning the value of hard work, financial discipline, and community. Those early years gave us firsthand insight into the challenges small business owners face.
2024
The Idea is Born
After years in public accounting, we wanted to create something more meaningful—a firm dedicated to supporting everyday entrepreneurs and service-based businesses like the one we grew up in. That vision became ProBooks by Patel.
2025
Official Launch
ProBooks by Patel launched with a mission to deliver hands-on bookkeeping and tax preparation services rooted in trust, clarity, and relationships. Inspired by our parents’ motto, “once a customer, always a friend,” we carry that same value into every client partnership.
